Jeri Lyn Smith, 63, of Akron, Ind., and the Miami County areas, died at 1:22 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at Hope Hospice in Logansport Memorial Hospital, Logansport, after battling ovarian cancer since May 2007.
