SYRACUSE – The fifth running of Goofy Golf provided much like the previous four, a hilarious time held for a great cause.
SYRACUSE — The annual Goofy Golf To Sink Cystic Fibrosis event was held at Wawasee Golf Club Saturday morning.
SYRACUSE — Winter will not be officially finished for more than a month, but school administrators are already planning summer construction or renovation projects for Wawasee schools. During the regular monthly meeting of the Wawasee school board Tuesday evening, Feb. 9, in Syracuse, the board approved architectural firm Barton-Coe-Vilamaa to begin advertising for bids for capital funds summer projects.
SYRACUSE — Five years ago, a new program emphasizing the teaching and rewarding of positive behaviors was implemented within the Wawasee Community School Corp. It was a change in culture and also changed the focus of how students are disciplined.
SYRACUSE — Technology was a main theme of the regular monthly meeting of the Wawasee school board Tuesday evening, Nov. 10, in Syracuse. The board heard two reports specifically dealing with technology.
The idea of golf by the lake is a beautiful thing. The idea of golf in 90 percent humidity is not. It almost makes a person not be able to breathe. Gathered en masse Saturday morning at Wawasee Golf Club, 10 teams braved the thick summer air to take part in the third annual Goofy Golf To Sink Cystic Fibrosis, raising money to defeat the awful debilitation.
