NORTH WEBSTER — The upcoming 10th annual North Webster Cemetery Walk has received official endorsement as an Indiana Bicentennial Legacy Project from the Indiana Bicentennial Commission. The Cemetery Walk, scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, is sponsored by the North Webster Community Public Library’s Local History and Genealogy Center.

INDIANAPOLIS — The executive director of the Indiana Bicentennial Commission says next week’s Statehood Day will kick off dozens of events that will lead up to a “singular moment” in the state’s history. Perry Hammock says community and individual involvement in events that will take place in all 92 counties has brought thousands of Hoosiers together. In all, there are nearly 700 registered projects, with more than half designated Bicentennial Legacy Projects.
