ELKHART — The planners of the first Hall of Heroes Comic Con knew they could draw a weekend crowd of 3,000. They were overjoyed when that number had been doubled by Saturday afternoon.

Allen Stewart loves comic books so much that he built a replica of the DC Comics’ Hall of Justice in his backyard to store them all.
