Gerald E. Showalter, 85, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 8:20 a.m. Monday, Feb. 3, 2014, in Kosciusko Community Hospital, Warsaw.  On March 21, 1928, he was born in Middlebury, Ind., to Noble L. and Edna May (Kauffman) Showalter.
