SYRACUSE — For the last six years, Wawasee FFA horticulture judging teams have fared well. A Wawasee team won the national horticulture judging contest two years ago and a couple of years prior to that another team competed in the national contest.
SYRACUSE — Pending ratification by the Wawasee Community Educators Association, the Wawasee school board approved a contract agreement with teachers and administrators during a special board meeting Thursday evening, Sept. 22, in Syracuse.
CAPE CANAVERAL — On Jan. 16, 2016, Expedition 46 Commander Scott Kelly shared photographs of a blooming zinnia flower in the Veggie plant growth system aboard the International Space Station. Kelly wrote, “Yes, there are other life forms in space! #SpaceFlower #YearInSpace”

Wawasee High School’s FFA horticulture judging team placed first nationally during the national horticulture judging competition Saturday in Lexington, Ky. This follows the judging team taking first place at the state competition Sept. 13 at Purdue University.
