KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — Fire departments throughout the county, as well as police agencies and county highway department, are responding to a number of calls of limbs down, trees downed, low hanging wires and wires down, along with numerous slide offs.
WARSAW — The Highway Department has dominated much spending in 2015, and at last night’s Kosciusko County Council meeting, an additional appropriation was requested. In addition, the 2016 appointments were filled and end-of-year transfers were made.

SYRACUSE — After an unusually high number of accidents at the intersection of US 6 and CR 29, north of Syracuse, INDOT researched possible methods of alleviation including a roundabout and a four-way stop to replace the current two-way stop. The group settled on an overpass that has come in at an estimated $2.3 million cost.
