SILVER LAKE — The Kosciusko County community is changing the way many local residents see, and feel, winter weather. Whether beautiful or tragic, the snowfall in Warsaw, Winona Lake, Silver Lake and other local communities can cause more problems than just traffic delays.

The weather is definitely changing and many people have started going through closets sorting through and finding jackets or coats that are too small or finding ones that haven’t been worn for sometime. This month, Warsaw Christian School has been collecting coats, hats, scarves and shoes for those who are in need. The drive is for the entire month of November and so far the students have brought in 45 coats, 7 scarves, 14 mittens, 15 stocking caps and 85 pairs of shoes!.
