WARSAW — Growing up in St. Louis along the Mississippi River, Jon Siesennop moved up to Kosciusko County in 1986 to join the seminary at Grace College. After being raised in the type of church where men would regularly stand up and speak on their faith, he “felt a call early on” to attend seminary and speak openly about his beliefs.

WINONA LAKE — Grace College and Seminary has partnered with YouVisit, LLC to build a complete virtual walking tour of the college, giving prospective students, their families, alumni, and the community unlimited access to Grace’s scenic campus.

KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — Every social service organization in Kosciusko County, sans Bowen Center, met over the past few days to communicate with each other on how they could enhance their community service efforts. Representatives from each organization met for the Common Focus seminar/workshop, which was led by Jon West, from Atlanta Community Food Bank.

WINONA LAKE — Grace College is providing the location for a two-day worskhop/seminar titled Common Focus. The event is being held for county non-profit agencies, organizations and churches with the goal of initiating a cooperative model that will improve the service and support of the citizens they serve.

Lake City Place will host Kosciusko Veterans Service Officer Rich Maron for a free presentation and seminar on VA Benefits. Veterans and widows may be eligible for a pension to help pay for cost of care. Veterans receive $1,759; couples receive $2,085; and widows receive $1,360.
