Area police officers have apprehended a suspect who allegedly shoplifted at Kohl’s in Warsaw after fleeing from the store. Details are still being released but according to officials, the suspect was located by officers as they proceeded northbound near Leesburg. The subject was reportedly held at gunpoint and is in police custody at this time.  

At 12:58 a.m. police were involved in a vehicle pursuit that ended in the 300 block of East Van Buren Street. According to a report filed by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, police observed a vehicle northbound on SR 15 with a broken tail light.
