WARSAW — The Dec. 22 Kosciusko County Commissioner’s meeting covered the community collaboration plan, as well as plans to buy new equipment for police cars.
ETNA GREEN — The town council at the Nov. 10 Etna Green town council meeting handled multiple subjects despite no citizens attending. The waste water treatment plant received fencing bids, and the old truck barn in Heritage Park will be getting two new doors.
WARSAW — The Kosciusko County Commissioners meeting was held today, Monday, Nov. 2. Scott Tilden, county highway superintendent, was in attendance for the reading of bids for supplies for the 2016 year. The bids were announced and will be looked over for the next two weeks before Tilden makes a recommendation to the council at the Nov. 17 meeting.
Efforts to keep boaters from using the east side of the railroad bridge is being made with caution tape and markers. Board members of the Wawasee Property Owners Association expressed concern over the condition of the CSX railroad bridge over the channel connecting Syracuse and Wawasee lakes last Saturday during its annual public board meeting. …read more.

Kosciusko County Commissioners awarded a bid on a bridge project in Syracuse. There were four bids presented and the lowest bid, $404,278.71 from Northern Indiana Construction Co., Mishawaka, was approved. The bid was under the engineer’s estimate. The bridge is located on Front Street, north of Medusa Street. A rezoning for Devon Hochstetler was approved. …read more.
