NEW BUFFALO, Mich. — The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians and its Four Winds Casinos are pleased to announce a donation of 1,000 baskets of food to local organizations in northern Indiana and southwest Michigan for those in-need. Each basket includes a turkey, three pounds of potatoes, stuffing mix, cranberry sauce, kernel corn and an apple pie.

The annual “Books and Baskets” evening took place at Triton Elementary School from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. March 19. The Triton High School boys’ and girls’ basketball teams were at Triton Elementary School to read with the elementary students and then shoot “hoops” with them in the gym.
