Community Corrections Executive Director Barry Andrew came before the commissioners with a vehicle purchase request at the Kosciusko County Commissioners meeting Tuesday, July 21.

Terry Burnworth, owner of Pyramid Consulting Services out of Indianapolis, asked for the approval of Kosciusko County Commissioners to send out requests for proposals for a radio vendor as the county moves forward with the public safety broadband system project.

Several of Kosciusko County’s department heads attended Thursday evening’s county council meeting to provide updates on how their duties have been affected by COVID-19, as well as what new methods have been implemented to keep employees and citizens safe.

Decisions, perhaps the easiest ones to be made, were handled by the Tippecanoe Chapman Lakes Regional Sewer District Board tonight, Monday, May 11. The board not only elected its officers, but preliminarily decided on a treatment provider, thus filling the remaining vacancy on the board and adopted its first resolution.

WARSAW – Kosciusko County Health Officer Dr. William Remington predicted more positive cases will be reported in short order locally after officials announced the first case in the county earlier in the day.
