SYRACUSE — Three significant structures at the site of the new Syracuse Elementary School are noticeable — the main office (to include the media center and multi-purpose room), the gym and cafeteria. And due to a milder than normal winter, much of the work continues to progress ahead of schedule.

SYRACUSE — As the 2015-16 school year winds down, this is the time of the year when personnel changes can be numerous as teachers and-or administrators resign or retire. During the regular monthly meeting of the Wawasee school board Tuesday, May 10, in Syracuse the board approved several personnel changes.

CSX Railroad crossing closures at Bishop Road and East Wawasee Drive near Syracuse will affect bus routes at least for a couple of days for the Wawasee Community School Corp.
