AKRON — Tippecanoe Valley senior Sophie Bussard was named one of four Indiana Basketball Coaches Association/ Subway Players of the Week for her performance in a win over Logansport last week.

Betty L. Bussard, 91, of Winona Lake, Ind., passed away at 8:35 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2014, in Grace Village, Winona Lake. She was born Dec. 23, 1920, Wabash, Ind., to Royal L.
