Betty A. Sommer, 82, formerly of Nappanee, Ind., passed away at 5:25 a.m., Monday, March 25, 2013 at Golden Living Nursing Home, Elkhart, Ind. She was born Dec. 21, 1930, in New Castle, Ind., to Gus and Ruth (Valentine) Spears. Her adoptive parents were Asa and Elizabeth Blount. She was married to Rev. Eugene Sommer. …read more.
