PIERCETON — Emergency personnel responded to a residential fire located at 7246 E. South Barbee Drive, Pierceton, around 9:15 a.m. North Webster Fire Department was called to the scene along with Pierceton Fire Department. Turkey Creek Fire was placed on standby for NWFD. Winona Lake Fire Department was called for a full assist.

The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department announces officers will be increasing patrols in the lake regions of the county starting this weekend. Officers will be particularly concentrating on the Barbee Lake area after recent incidents of theft and reckless driving.
