DILLSBURG, PA. — An 11-year-old girl turned down birthday gifts this year to help raise money for the recovery of a puppy in poor condition.

WINONA LAKE — Administrator Joy Lavender announced Tuesday, Aug. 18, Lakeland Christian Academy earned continuing accreditation from the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement, an accreditation division of AdvancED. This action was taken at the AdvancED Accreditation Commission meeting held in Tempe, Ariz., June 25.

Arden Farley Lancaster, 81, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 1:20 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2013, at his residence at Warsaw Meadows Care Center, Warsaw.
