NEW PARIS — On Jan. 20, the Indiana Department of Workforce Development received a warn notice that local Merchant Metals, LLC, 71347 County Road 23, New Paris, will be closing its facility. The closure is expected to be permanent.

MILFORD — Customers of PNC Bank will be receiving notices regarding its Milford location, if they have not already. In less than two months, the branch at 127 S. Main St., Milford, will be permanently closed.

The east/west alley south of Center Street and east of Lake Street will be closed during portions of the day this Friday and Saturday as Zimmer Midwest moves out of its building at 121 W. Center St. The closing is needed to accommodate the moving truck for loading.
