Four boys basketball players from Tippecanoe Valley and Whitko have been honored by the Three Rivers Conference.

Three area girls basketball teams are in the thick of conference championship races as the final week of the regular season comes to a close.

SOUTH WHITLEY – Peru emerged as champions of the Three Rivers Conference Wrestling Championships Saturday at Whitko.

NORTH MANCHESTER – Whitko and Tippecanoe Valley competed at Saturday’s Three Rivers Conference Cross Country Championships.

HUNTINGTON – Victoria Biddle hung around near the leaders to highlight locals at the Three Rivers Conference Girls Golf Championship Saturday at Norwood Golf Club in Huntington. Biddle, the No. 1 for the Tippecanoe Valley golf team, shot a 97 to finish in seventh place overall and take All-TRC honors.

AKRON – A trio of players from the league champion Tippecanoe Valley boys basketball team highlight the All-Three Rivers Conference squad for the 2013-14 season.
