INDIANAPOLIS – Day one is in the books at the IHSAA Girls Swim Championships.
MIDDLEBURY – Wawasee’s Alexis Mishler claimed her first NLC swim title in an exciting finish Saturday at the NLC Girls Swimming Championships.
SYRACUSE – Don Bucher was recently named a Midwest Water Ski Hall of Famer, and is part of an extremely talented group of area skiers.
MILFORD – Sisters Alexis and Julie Mishler are shredding up local lakes on a championship level.
V. Richard Miller, 76, Syracuse, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016 in Venice, Fla.
Paul J. “Tubby” Sherk, 89, of Bremen, passed away peacefully at 12 a.m., Friday, March 11, 2016 in Miller’s Merry Manor, Wakarusa. Tubby was born on July 16, 1926, the son of the late Paul W. and Edna (Balsley) Sherk.
SYRACUSE – Several area water skiers found success at a pair of regional tournaments. Included in the success was a one-two finish in Girls 1 slalom by sisters Alexis and Julie Mishler.
