A local man will serve seven years in prison after administering heroin to a man who died as a result of a drug overdose almost two years ago.

Adam Arnett, 78, of Akron, Ind., and formerly of rural Roann, Ind., passed away at 10:05 p.m. Friday May 2, 2014, at his residence after being in failing healthy for several months.
