WARSAW — The identity of the individual found unresponsive int he water on Little Chapman Lake on July 29 has been identified as Michael Cox from Japan. Cox is formally from the Marion area.

WARSAW — Emergency personnel are currently responding to a possible drowning at Little Chapman Lake in the area of Loziers Mobile Home Park, near C23 Lane.  

Court documents, filed July 6, state Jared Thomas Frantz, Syracuse, sold a juvenile male LSD, who in turn allegedly furnished the drug to Korbin Foster and Kaleb Lampkin, both 17, who died June 1, in an accidental drowning. A new law goes into effect July 1 allowing the legal manufacturing, selling or owning of a sawed-off or short-barreled shotgun in Indiana. The law does come with restrictions.
