The body of a 5-year-old child was recovered Tuesday night, July 14, after going missing while swimming. 

SYRACUSE — Kosciusko County officials are currently investigating a drowning on Lake Wawasee near Syracuse. A 13-year-old autistic boy was found deceased after being reported missing by his family. ELKHART COUNTY — The victim recovered by Indiana Conservation Officers this morning, Wednesday, July 20, from the Saint Joseph River has been identified as Kendall Deshawn McGee, age 18, of Elkhart. An autopsy has been scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, July 21.

ELKHART COUNTY — Indiana Conservation Officers have recovered the victim from the Saint Joseph River just east of Ash Road in Elkhart County.
