Anticipation fills the air as Social Security gets closer to the agency’s historic 80th anniversary and prepares to commemorate the Aug. 14, 1935, signing of the Social Security Act.

Gov. Mike Pence will join executives from 80/20 Inc. Wednesday for an economic development announcement in Columbia City. Pence will be at the homegrown Hoosier aluminum components provider at 3:45 p.m.
