MILFORD — Milford Firefighter Troy Haines suffered minor injuries to the head and hand after the tanker he was driving rolled over while responding to a fire call this afternoon. The accident occurred at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Old SR 15, south of Turkey Creek Drive, Milford.
KOSCIUSKO COUNTY — New grants for the care of Indiana’s water bodies totaling $1,296,000 have been awarded through the Lake and River Enhancement program in the DNR Division of Fish & Wildlife. WARSAW — Atwood Fire responded to a call about a semi truck on US 30 east of CR 500W, in the eastbound lane. The truck was reportedly on fire, but it turned out to be a brake fire that was quickly extinguished with a fire extinguisher. There were no injuries reported.
