WARSAW — Miles Waters officially became a firefighter with the Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory Friday morning, Sept. 16. Waters, who completed his probationary period, was sworn in as a full time firefighter during the Warsaw Board of Works meeting.

WARSAW — Infrastructure 115 years old is beginning to show its age. Storm and sewer lines installed in 1900 are deteriorating at the joints causing not only breaks in the system, but also sinkholes.

WARSAW — Right-of-way acquisitions for the Husky Trail Project, including the roundabout, are almost complete. Only one more acquisition is needed before moving ahead with design plans. Approval of three of the four final properties was given at the Friday, July 1, Warsaw Board of Public Works and Safety meeting.

WARSAW — Purchase of new playground and fitness equipment, along with safety material for Lucerne Park was approved Friday morning, May 20, by the Warsaw Board of Public Works and Safety.
