Grandstand Events Planned During Fair Week

Country recording artist Chris Young will take the stage at the Kosciusko County Community Fair on Thursday, July 12. Young is know for such hits as “The Man I Want to Be” and “Gettin You Home.”
Grandstand events at this year’s Kosciusko County Community Fair promise to offer something for everyone. And, depending on the event, tickets range from free to just $25.

A Wild West Review will start at 6 p.m. Monday, July 9. The review features: Ohio Top Hands, trick rider Linda Nealy, Indiana Mounted Shooter, Wayne Ithier, and Shadow Ranch Miniature Donkeys Chariot Racing. Joe Sullivan, as “Hop-a-Long Cassidy,” will also perform. Admission is $5, children 5 and under are admitted free, and gates open at 5 p.m.

For musical entertainment, Christian artist Brandon Heath, along with Lindsay McCaul, will take the stage Tuesday, July 10. Theory of a Deadman is scheduled for Wednesday, July 11, and country singer Chris Young will perform Thursday, July 12. All three concerts start at 8 p.m.

All-day truck and tractor pulls start at noon Saturday, July 14. General admission is $10 for adults, $6 for children 6 to 12, and children under 5 are admitted free.

Michindoh Pulling Series will be at 7 p.m. Friday, July 13. A pit pass is $25 and general admission is $10 for adults, $6 for children, and children 5 and under will be admitted free.

A show and shine show will be Saturday, July 14, with a parade of lights after dark. Registration is from 7 a.m. to noon.
