MILFORD — Milford Public Library news and events this week:
SRP Thank You!
Wow, summer sure went fast. Saturday, Aug. 1 was the final day in our superhero reading program. There were a total of 208 students registered and 5690 hours read in the last eight weeks. The Grand Finale picnic had super attendance of 102 super readers.
Ronald McDonald entertained us with magic and laughter after we all enjoyed a lunch of orange drink, hot dogs, chips, Subway cookies, and blue moon ice cream. Everyone who came to the picnic went home with a prize. We are looking forward to next year’s summer reading program already and hope you all come back and read with us! Thank you to our generous sponsors for providing financial support.
