WARSAW — The Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce and Warsaw Community Development Corporation are directing a second year for the Pop-Up Shop program. Grand opening celebrations will take place Friday, Nov. 6, in conjunction with First Friday, and go until Jan. 2.
Based on similar programs, Warsaw Community Development Corporation is working on bringing more shopping opportunities to downtown Warsaw during the holiday season. To do such, the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce and WCDC partnered with local downtown building owners to utilize some of the vacant locations. Kosciusko County small start-up businesses have the opportunity to sell their products in temporary shops throughout the entirety of the holiday season.
‘Pop-Up Shops’ is an initiative of WCDC, Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce, and private land lords to offer retailers a low-cost short-term lease in a downtown Warsaw storefront for the 2015 holiday season through a juried selection process. One of the goals of the program is to highlight the available spaces in the C-4 district and develop long-term lease prospects for the available spaces.
For more information or to apply as a building owner or a business visit the WCDC website or contact Jen Pyle at (574) 267-6311 ext. 227.
Warsaw Community Development strives to develop Warsaw’s central business district through investments in people, buildings, businesses and land.
