AKRON – The Tippecanoe Valley boys tennis team rolled past North Judson by a 5-0 final count on Thursday evening.
The Vikings lost a total of just 12 games on the five varsity courts in the win.
Nick Caudill led the way with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 3 singles for Valley.
Trevor Neeley posted a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles for the Vikings. Keith Wright completed the singles sweep as he won 6-0, 6-4 at the No. 2 spot.
Dakota Parker and Seth Hoffman teamed for a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 1 doubles for Valley.
The duo of Kane Steller and Parker Dalrymple completed the shutout with a 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 2 doubles.
Golfers Post 1-1 Mark
The girls golf team went 1-1 with a win over Wabash and a loss to Warsaw at the Honeywell Golf Course in Wabash.
Warsaw shot 192 to post two wins, while the Vikings shot 236. Wabash did not have a team score.
Liz VanMeter led the way for Valley with a 48 in the match.
Victoria Biddle shot a 55 and Makayla Sandbakken a 61. Lexi Cumberland finished with a 72 and Jade VanMeter a 73 for Valley.
Valley, now 3-4, will compete in the Rochester Invitational on Saturday at the Round Barn Golf Course.
Spikers Fall To Chargers
The volleyball team dropped a 3-0 final to a strong West Noble team at home.
West Noble took the varsity matchup over the Vikings 25-17, 25-18, 25-13.
Abby Betten had six kills and two aces to lead the way for Valley.
Olivia Trippiedi had three digs and Henninger eight assists for the Vikings.
West Noble won the junior varsity mach 25-23, 25-19.
Valley, now 1-1, will face Marion on Monday evening.
