SILVER LAKE — A Sonfest Community Day is scheduled from noon-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, at Gospel Hill Pentecostal Church of God, 303 S. Jefferson St., (SR 15) Silver Lake.

Activities for the afternoon are free. There will be hot dogs, sloppy Joes, chips, nachos and cheese, mouse ears, popcorn, cotton candy, snow cones, ice cream, root beer floats, drinks, carnival games, petting zoo, Good News Caboose, face painting, train rides, obstacle course, bounce house, slip and slide, music and clothing give-a-way.
