Kosciusko
Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the following accidents.
5:31 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, South SR 15 and West CR 200S, Warsaw. Drivers: Joshua D. Ridlen, 30, South SR 15, Warsaw, and Austin T. Johnson, 15, Windsor Drive, Kokomo. Ridlen’s vehicle turned left in front of Johnson’s and the vehicles collided. A passenger in one of the cars, Savanah Tucker, 15, South SR 15, Warsaw, complained of arm pain. Damage up to $5,000.
4:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, North CR 300E and East Defreese Road, Milford. Driver: Robert C. Piasecki, 43, West High Street, Syracuse. Peski lost control of his vehicle and it hit a fence. He was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital with minor bleeding to the face. Damage up to $2,500.
8:16 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, South Main Street and East Washington Street, North Webster. Drivers: Amy I. Troyer, 28, North Sandpoint Drive, Cromwell, and Jennifer K. Hartley, 40, North Mulberry Street, North Webster. While Troyer was attempting to make a lefthand turn, her vehicle hit Hartley’s. Damage up to $25,000.
Pierceton
Officers with the Pierceton Police Department investigated the following accident.
8:01 a.m. Monday, Aug. 17, CR 850S, Sidney. Drier: Davey Prater, 35, South SR 13, Claypool. Swerved to miss deer and hit utility pole. Damage up to $5,000.
Syracuse
Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accidents.
9:53 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, North SR 13 and Waco drive, Syracuse. Driver: Lizabeth A. Hunter, 53, Point Inverness Way, Fort Wayne. Hunter lost control of her vehicle and hit a telephone pole. A witness reported the accident. Damage up to $10,000.
7:04 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14, North Huntington Street and West Washington Street, Syracuse. Drivers: Sherry K. Eskridge, 25, West CR 100S, Warsaw, and Matthew J. Schafer, 55, Ellison Wilson Road, North Palm Beach, Fla. Eskridge’s vehicle rear-ended Schafer’s vehicle. Damage up to $2,500.
6:16 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14, 200 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Drivers: Jeffrey E. Gainey, 52, East Market Street, Warsaw, and Patricia C. Alvarez, 42, West Section Street, Milford. Gainey backed his vehicle into Alvarez’s car. Damage up to 2,500.
Warsaw
Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accidents.
6:22 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, Silveus Crossing and Executive Drive, Warsaw. Driver: Christopher J. Payne, 26, North Zimmer Road, Warsaw. Hit deer. Damage up to $$5,000.
