Vote For ‘Hoosier Pie Trail’ As One Of 10 Best From USA Today
INDIANA — USA Today is encouraging readers to vote for their favorite “Best Food Trail” that includes different types of foods across the country. One of the nominees is the “Hoosier Pie Trail.”
In 2009 the Indiana legislature declared Hoosier Pie (aka sugar cream pie) the state’s official pie. The Hoosier Pie Trail includes other pies as well, at more than a dozen stops across the state that road trippers can check out.
Readers can vote the Hoosier Pie Trail one of the 10 best food-related road trips in the country through Monday, Aug. 17, on USA Today’s website.
Some of the other nominees include the Connecticut Chocolate Trail, the Kentucky Bourbon Trail and the Wisconsin Cheese Tour.
