Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following incidents

• 9:45 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, 2200 block East Market Street, Warsaw. A BMX style bicycle was found in the alleyway.
• 9:14 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, 2100 block East Fort Wayne Street, Warsaw Scott H. Ehmen reported receiving a letter from the IRS stating someone tried to use his name to file a tax return.
