WARSAW – The combined squads from Warsaw Community High School will be hosting an elementary school cheerleading clinic Saturday, Aug. 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The clinic will take place at the WCHS Career Center Gym, with a $25 entry fee. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the gym.
All students in kindergarten through sixth grade are welcome to attend and work on all areas of cheerleading skills: jumps, cheers, chants, stretching, dance and basic stunting skills. Upon completion of the clinic, all students will be invited to attend the Warsaw varsity football game the following Friday, Aug. 21, to cheer alongside the varsity cheer and root on the Tigers against visiting Columbia City.
All elementary participants will receive a T-shirt which can be worn during the Friday night game.
Parents are asked to provide a sack lunch for the campers the Saturday of the clinic.
