Warsaw Hosts Family Fun Carnival Friday In Central Park

WARSAW — The city of Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department is proud to present the Family Carnival, an event for the entire family, from 6-9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, in Central Park. Enjoy children’s entertainment, games, activities, face painting, a dunk tank and more.

Also, sign-up the kids for the Penguin Point’s Big Wheel Race that will be held in conjunction with the Carnival. Registration for the 35th Annual Big Wheel Championship is from 5:45-6:45 p.m. at Central Park. The race will start at 7 p.m. sharp. Big Wheels are provided. The two age divisions this year are: division one for 4- and 5-year olds; and division two for 6-and 7-year olds. Pick up an entry form at the Warsaw Parks Department office or Penguin Point until Wednesday, Aug. 5.

Tickets for the Family Carnival are 25 cents each, while punch cards are $5 each (which equals 20 tickets). Family Carnival tickets will be sold at the West Picnic Shelter in Central Park. Central Park is located at  225. E. Fort Wayne St., Warsaw.
