Gilbert “Skip” Ray Shedrow, 69, of Knox, formerly of Bradenton, Fla., passed away at 8:50 p.m. Monday, August 3, 2015, in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend. Gilbert was born on Oct. 13, 1945, the son of the late Gilbert E. and Sara Frances (Porter) Shedrow.

Skip is survived by four children: Andrea Shedrow, Knox; Julie Shedrow, Knox; David (Alison) Shedrow, Ellenton, Fla.; and Jennifer Grundy Troyer, Plymouth; six grandchildren: Tasha; Nathan; Taylor; Katelyn; Alexis; and Evan; and one great-granddaughter: Lily. He is also survived by a sister: Sue (Jim) Barnett, Grovertown.

He was the owner/operator of Skip’s Lawncare for the past 25 years and will be remembered for his love of NASCAR, fishing and bowling.

There will be no services. Cremation has taken place. Mishler Funeral Home,  Bremen is handling arrangements.
