Malcolm D. “Mac” Young, age 75, Plymouth, passed away at 2:04 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, 2015, at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth.

Mac was born in Lafayette on Jan. 14, 1940, to Gordon and Margaret L. “Peggy” (Russell) Young. He retired from Bomarko. Mac was a proud grandfather.

Mac is survived by his daughter: Heather (Robert) Sasaoka Bremerton, Wash.; sons: Rodney Young, Elkhart and Mark Young, Racine, Wisc.; sisters: Sharon (Carl) Roth, Mishawaka, Patricia (Steve) Schoberg, Plymouth, Lois (Rick) Crawford, San Diego, Calif., and Debbie (Bill) Kirby, Crestwood, Ill.; his brother: Michael (Cathy) Young, Granger; and his grandchildren.

Private family services took place at Van Gilder Funeral Home, Plymouth. Burial was in New Oak Hill Cemetery, Plymouth.
