Malcolm B. “Buddy” Shearer, 85, of Warsaw formerly of Bourbon, passed away at 1:15 p.m.  Friday, July 24, 2015, in Miller’s Merry Manor Nursing Home Warsaw, Indiana.

Buddy was born Nov. 6, 1929, at Mishawaka, to William Shearer, Sr. and Sarah (Penrod) Shearer.  He has been a resident of area all his life. Buddy was highly educated. He was a graduate of Bourbon High School in the class of 1947, Bachelor Degree from Bob Jones University and a Masters Degree from University of Tennessee. He even work at the South Bend Missile Plant manufacturing a speciality missiles for the Navy and he retired from Biomet in 1992. He was a United States Veteran serving in the Korean War with the Air Force. He was a member of The Bourbon American Legion Post 424.

He is survived by his brother: Douglas P. Shearer, Warsaw; two nieces: Vickie Shearer, Warsaw; Cheryl (Jim) Holderman, Warsaw; and a nephew: Mike (Susan) Shearer, Warsaw.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother: William Shearer Jr..

There will be no visitation or services at this time. A memorial grave side service will be at a later date.
