Both petitions at Syracuse Board of Zoning Appeals were approved at Thursday evening’s meeting.
James and Debra George’s petition for an exception to allow an oversized accessory building, 3,220 square-feet, where ordinance would allow 864 square-feet, was approved. The property is located on the south side of Medusa Street, just east of Front Street. The petition was approved as petitioned.
The Georges petition for a variance, also on the same property, was also approved as presented. The couple wish to allow a residential accessory building to be constructed 11 feet from the south property line.
The next meeting is at 6 p.m. July 19, at Syracuse Town Hall.
