WARSAW – The Lake City Roller Dolls were recently able to formally thank some local troops.

Susan Manns from Treasures for Troops, a non-profit based in Silver Lake that provides care packages for those serving overseas, accepted at $200 donation Tuesday night from the Lake City Roller Dolls. The roller derby team raised the money from its home bout against the Battle Creek Cereal Killers held on June 6 at Hansen’s Eastlake Skate Center in Warsaw.
