Juanita HaleJuanita Hale, 86 of Goshen and formally of Warsaw, passed away at 12:31 am Sunday, July 12, 2015 in IU Health Goshen Hospital.

On Dec. 15, 1928, she was born in Coal River, Raleigh County, W. Va. to Alfred and Thelma (Cook) Peters. She was united in marriage to Homer Hale on Oct. 3, 1953 in Angola, who preceded her in death on Jan.  9, 1972.

Juanita worked as a factory worker for Goshen Rubber, where she retired. She then worked part-time for Walmart.

She is survived by her daughter: Carol (Paul) Fisher, Indianapolis; two sons: Robert “Randy” Hale; and Larry Hale, both of Goshen; her companion: Ernesto Gonzalez, Puerto Rico; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She was also preceded in death by her parents; her son: Michael Otto Hale; her brother: James Peters; her grandson: greg Hale; and her granddaughter: Lori Ann Hale.

There is no visitation planned. Graveside services will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
