Syracuse Sunoco Attempted Robbery

Syracuse Police are looking for a male subject who is suspected of attempting to rob a Syracuse convenience store early this morning.

Around 5 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, police say a male walked into the Sunoco station located at 1200 S. Huntington St. and demanded money from the female cashier.

When the cashier refused the money, the suspect grabbed a small lighter from a countertop display and exited the store. The suspect did not use any weapons or force during the attempted robbery.

The suspect was captured on the security camera wearing a yellow and grey/dark checkered flannel shirt and dark ball cap with dark pants and tennis shoes.
