The Virginia Zoo in Norfolk, Virginia, has welcomed two tiny new residents to the Trail of the Tiger exhibit. A pair of red panda twins were born June 25 to mother Bernadette.
Zoo officials say the cubs are in good health. The female weighed in at just under 3 ounces when born and the male was 2.75 ounces.
The tiny cubs will stay in a nest with their mom for more than three months. The zoo has set up a live camera feed for those who would like to take a peek at the babies and mom.
The red pandas are the third set of twins born at the zoo in the past three years.
