The Milford Public Library will be closed on Wednesday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. The library opens again at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 5.
Teens:
Thriller practice for Teens will take place in the library meeting room at 2 p.m. every Thursday now through July 19. Come learn the dance, create your own amazing costume, funky hair and zombie make-up and be a part of the ghoulish fun!
Preschool Story Time:
Evening preschool story time with Miss Tina will feature books and stories with the theme, “Getting Ready for Bed.” Be there at 7 p.m. July 5. Miss Tina will read Tiger Can’t Sleep, by S. J. Fore as well as other great bedtime stories. Make a good-night craft and enjoy milk and cookies for snack.
Friday Preschool Story Time with Miss Maureen will be at 11 a.m. July 6 in the library meeting room. Come join Miss Maureen as she repeats the theme, “Getting Ready for Bed.” Do you have a bedtime routine? Come and share your favorite bedtime story. Sign up today!
Scrapbooking Club:
On July 2, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., the Scrapbooking club will meet in the library meeting room. Bring your supplies and have fun working on your project. The library does have a cricut machine for cutting out letters and shapes.
Coming Events:
At 7 p.m. Monday, July 9, local author Jami Stichter will be at the library reading her book and signing copies upon request. She’s written a children’s book, When You Don’t Clean Your RoomAre you interested in writing? Don’t miss this opportunity to meet a Ms. Stichter and learn how she became a published author.
