UPDATE: Several hours after one accident occurred at CR 700N and CR 200E, Leesburg, a second accident happened Tuesday evening.

Jim W. McLean, 81, EMS T6A Lane, Leesburg, and a passenger in his vehicle, Sandra S. McLean, 80, EMS T6A Lane, Leesburg, were taken to Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. The accident was at 7:23 p.m.

Jim McLean suffered an abrasion to the face, and Sandra S. McLean suffered minor bleeding to the face. Both were trapped in their red 2009 Hyunda until extricated by Leesburg Fire Department.

Kelly L. Butler, 39, East Pickwick Drive, Syracuse, driver of a 2009 Dodge, suffered minor injuries to her left wrist but was not transported to a hospital.

Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Deputy Shawn Castillo reports McLean was southbound on CR 200E and failed to stop at the intersection. McLean’s vehicle was struck in the passenger side by Butler’s vehicle.

Emergency personnel are currently responding to an accident located at CR 700N and CR 200E, near Leesburg.
