Veta L. Blosser, 84, Nappanee, died 4:37 a.m. Monday, June 29, 2015, at Elkhart General Hospital. She was born Feb. 25, 1931, in Elkhart to Ralph and Sarah (Derr) Pletcher. She married Marian L. Blosser, on Sept. 12, 1959 in Wakarusa and he died May 23, 2004.

Surviving are daughters: Alisa (Loren) Begly, Reynolds Station, Ky.; Maria Blosser, Terlingua, Texas; Cathy (David) Stump, Goshen; brother: Robert (Sue) Pletcher, Elkhart; and grandchildren: Katie Emma (Jack Cummins), Annie; Jesse (Courtney); Callie Begly; and Katie Hope (Sam) Reece; Emily; Abby; Tyler; and Andrew Stump; and five great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband: Marian; grandaughter: Robin Begly; and a sister: Kathryn Anderson.

Veta was a homemaker, licensed beautician and worked for the Farmer’s Exchange. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church, Wakarusa, and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, quilting and traveling with husband to see her children.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, and one hour prior to the 10:30 a.m. service Thursday, July 2, all at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret-Lienhart Funeral Home, Wakarusa. Pastor David Harper and Pastor Jeremy Chesley will officiate. Burial will be in Olive (West) Cemetery.
