Don’t forget, Saturday, July 18, is the last day to record your pages and receive your prizes.  The big drawing will be Monday, July 20.

Drop-in Zone is from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 1. Drop in to play video games and watch a movie. For ages 13-18 only.

Cookbook club is from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Monday, July 6. This week it’s all about grilling. bring recipes, and taste a dish.

Emma Edmonds, a Civil War Spy, takes place from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 7. Sarah Emma Edmonds as a Canadian-born woman who is known for serving as a man with the Union Army during the American Civil War. A master of disguise. Join storyteller Carol Knarr for this event. Registration is required.

Lake City Piecemakers Quilt Club is from 9:15 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. Friday, July 10, in meeting room AB.

The Knit and Purl Club meets from 6 p.m. until 7:45 p.m. Monday, July 13. For the beginner and the expert. Bring your projects, and help is available.

Comic book jewelry making for teens is from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 8. Make a fun paperclip necklace and either a comic book bracelet or a comic pendant necklace.

Writers club meets from 6:30 p.m. until 7:45 p.m. Topics to write about include: summer pets; Patriotic theme; and betrayal. Complete an unfinished story and if you are having writer’s block, bring it in and let others help.

Genealogy club meets for question and answer time from 11 a.m. until noon Tuesday, July 14.

Visit with Batman and Spiderman from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. Tuesday, July 14.

The family edition of make-it and take-it crafts will be making pom pom pets. From 3 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 14. Children must be accompanied by an adult. This class is free but registration is required.

IRA workshop is from 6 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 14. We’ll be talking about 12 IRA planning mistakes. Are you protecting your retirement assets from the detrimental dozen. Registration is required.

Super Smash Brothers tournament for teens will be from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 15. Participants must register in advance. Only eight teams of two will be allowed to enter. Register at the adult reference desk. Come prepared with team name.

Learn what you really need to stay healthy with Jennifer Hoover, RPH, Walgreen Drug Store, with Vitamins and Herbs, from noon until 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 21. Registration is required.

Diabetes information 101 will be from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, with Cindy Smith, RD, CDE.

There will be a card making class fro 6 p.m. until 7:45 p.m. Monday, July 27. Make three cards with Faith Ketterer, a Stampin Up consultant. $8 paid at time of class. Registration is required.
