Shirley A. Cantrell, 71, passed away at 7:01 p.m. Monday, June 18, 2012, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Ind.

She was born May 15, 1941, in Welch, W.V., to George and Anna (Short) Beavers. On March 14, 1959, she married Charlie Cantrell in Clinchco, Va. She lived most of her life in Kosciusko County. She retired from Zimmer in 2000 after 30 years of service.

She was a member of United Pentecostal Church, Warsaw; enjoyed reading and was an avid canner of fruits and vegetables.

Mrs. Cantrell is survived by her husband: Charlie Cantrell, Warsaw; two sons: Jesse (Tammy) Cantrell, Streamwood, Ill.; and John (Lorrie) Cantrell, Warsaw; a daughter: Marjeanna (Terry) Worley, Silver Lake, Ind.; eight grandchildren: Nicole (Steve) Bachelor, Plano, Ill.; Christina Cantrell, Streamwood, Ill.; Jessica Cantrell, Streamwood, Ill.; Kelly (Juan) Ramirez, Warsaw; Joni Cantrell, Granger, Ind.; Katie Cantrell, Warsaw; Michelle (Morgan) McGlennen, Silver Lake; Shelby Layne, Warsaw; nine great-grandchildren; five brothers: Booker Beavers, Clinchco, Va.; James (Donna) Beavers, Tazewell, Va.; Donald (Gertie) Beavers, Tazewell, Va.; Clifford Beavers, Claypool, Ind.; Homer (Jennifer) Dove, Warsaw; three sisters: Goldie Hooks, Warsaw; Rosemary (Toddie) Justice, Grundy, Va.; Birdie (Pleas) Stiltner, Grundy, Va.

She was preceded in death by two brothers: Louie Beavers, Wallace Beavers; and a sister: Nadine Chadwick.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 21, at Titus Funeral Home, Warsaw. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 22, at the funeral home with Pastor William Whitaker, Family of Warsaw, Warsaw Family Worship.

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donors choice, or performing simple acts of kindness.
